Overview

La aventura de un veterinario en la Edad Media Durante un ataque sarraceno, Diego de Malagón, hijo de un posadero, es testigo del secuestro de sus hermanas. A partir de ese momento, el protagonista de esta novela hurgará en las entrañas de la biblioteca de un monasterio cisterciense para descubrir los secretos más recónditos del saber, y formará parte de un selecto grupo de espías que se infiltrará, en Sevilla, capital del califato musulmán. Allí el albéitar llegará a ser una pieza fundamental en la renombrada batalla de las Navas de Tolosa en la que los cristianos sentenciaron a su favor la reconquista española.
